Our engineering designs are generated by Wale Marine CC who are a Professional Engineering Corporation with over thirty years’ experience in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Engineering.
Zambezi Wale Marine have good working relations with other reliable sub-contractors for assistance in the execution of large undertakings.
Zambezi Wale Marine design and fabricate specialised catamaran craft and work barges that employ composite structural materials – including High Density Polyethelene (HDPE), aluminium, steel & duplex stainless steel, and timber.
Our HDPE mono hull fabrication partners, Rhino Marine Products, have for over fifteen years been designing and fabricating “Rhino Craft”, which are a robust and well proven craft for marine and naval use.
These craft have virtually indestructible hulls for extreme offshore and marine environments, especially related to Off-shore Oil & Gas and Naval/Military uses.
Rhino Craft were initially developed as a replacement for conventional RIB’s which could not satisfactorily handle the tough commercial environments on offshore installations.
They can typically be used as work boats, personnel transfer boats, diving and scuba replacement (SRP) boats.
They can be supplied with petrol or diesel outboards or with inboard diesel motors.
Our inboard versions can be propelled and steered by water jet drives or Z-drives (stern drive).
